Sometimes you get an idea about something and you just have to run with it. And sometimes you get a really crazy idea and still run with it because no one told you not to. Welcome to Pick-A-Pepper Candy. Pick-A-Pepper Candy started out as a simple idea to make very strongly flavored old-fashioned hard rock candy. This simple idea became the springboard to our crazy idea for creating chile candy. Seriously, you can’t get more strongly flavored than a good, hot chile. But the more we thought about it, the less crazy the idea seemed. In fact, it actually seemed like a really neat idea. So Ed and Dave, two friends and public finance guys, formed a partnership and created Pick-A-Pepper Candy. Our company is located in the small Midwestern town of Chatham, Illinois. We’re a small business in a small town, and that keeps everything real and in perspective.
