Weyrich planted the first trees in 1910. Since then five generations of Weyrich have spent many days and nights taking care of and nurturing each and every tree on the 150 acre homestead. Harvest time at Weyrich Farm is full of excitement and lots of hard work. Each and every pecan is processed by hand, assuring the quality that our Grandfather and Great-grandfather insisted on. As the pecans make there way in from the orchards to the pecan room and to your home, they are checked a minimum of 5 separate times to ensure you receive the very best pecans. In todays society when you never know what harmful chemicals have been used to produce the so-called natural foods you feed your family, Weyrich Farm believes in doing things the more natural way. Instead of using harmful insecticides, we use beneficial insects and other natural alternatives.
