Norman Klappenbach has been in the bakery business for 59 years. In 1987 he received certification as a Master Baker from the Retail Bakers of America. Norman and Lee, his wife, moved their bakery to Fordyce, Arkansas from Walla Walla, Washington in 1975. In 1988 they expanded and opened a sandwich shop which offers many wonderful sandwiches and homemade soup of the day. The mail order business was started in 1991 due to the request from many of their loyal customers and has grown every year since. The gift boxes were featured in the December 1993 issue of Southern Living for gift giving ideas.
